I arrived late because I didn't really care to see Holy Grail. I was also surprised by the attendance. They hit all the usual crowd favorites, as well as some other, more obscure, but equally brutal numbers. I'd never heard them before, but they weren't bad. It was probably the most packed I've ever seen the Fillmore (which isn't saying THAT much, given that I only really go to metal shows). If Palace - Band didn't put on a good show the first 3 times I saw them, I wouldn't have come out last night. I showed up probably half-way through Eluvetie's (sp?) set. Obviously, that is not the case. Looking forward to more shows at this venue, as well as the next Palace - Band tour. They did a good job warming up the crowd for Palace - Band, who, as expected, delivered the goods. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, which was much clearer than previous shows I've attended at the Fillmore (including 2 Palace - Band shows). All in all, I had a good time, and it looked like everyone else did, too.
